Overview
SC600 is manufactured from high-purity amorphous silica fiber (≥96% SiO₂), which provides dramatically superior temperature resistance over standard E-glass fiberglass fabric. The continuous service temperature of 982°C makes SC600 the material of choice for welding protection, furnace door seals, and applications involving molten metal splash that would destroy conventional fabrics.
